Well here we are on the eve of Game 3 of the NBA Finals and King LeBron has yet to turn up. The only regal performances at the moment are by Tim Duncan who is nailed on to get another finals MVP award.

Can King LeBron turn up tonight and at least make a series of it?

The viewing figures show that this one of the least watched Fianls series in NBA history and no wonder.......boring!

Please can we have a good game tonight.......PLEASE!!

Do Believe The Hype

"Becks is back" proclaimed the headlines. Perhaps the only person who didn't believe this is the man whose job he is likely to save..McLaren. Anyone who has any idea about football knows that Beckham provides quality and drive and passion which is not found in the majority of the players of his generation and not a player in the world could put quality crosses in like he has done over the last 2 internationals. But Lampard? There's another story - one word for him ENIGMA!

Here we are at the eve of the NBA Finals and yet another Jordan clone in LeBron James. The next big thing! After Iverson, Bryant et al we are now told that he is the man. Admittedly he did give a performance in game 5 of the Conference Finals but tonight is where we see whether he is the man or not. Personally I hope he is the man as the Spurs are an efficient but not an attractive team.......but we will see.

Thug Life Pays Off

How disgraceful it is to see someone like Joey Barton "earn" himself a lucrative move by what can only be described as pure thuggery. What an example it sets to the young kids. It's okay kids throw your dummy out of the pram and kick seven bells out of your team mates and you too may earn yourselves a small fortune. Shame on you Joey and shame on Mr McKay and Big Sam for allowing this to take place.

I am just glad that's it as far as Everton are concerned as there are many (me included) who would not have gone to the match again had he signed.

One word describes players like Barton - PATHETIC!

Kids Football

Is it me or is kids football the epitome of all that's wrong with football these days?

We have managers who think they are the next Moyes, Mourinho or Benitez and kids with temper tantrums like their "heroes" Rooney, Bellamy and the likes whilst imitating their celebrations and the "competitive dads" who need to win at all costs. Not to mention the new Polls and Ellerays who imitate their professional counterparts.

No wonder the kids are losing interest in the game!

For Once UEFA get it right

For once UEFA get it right and brand Liverpool fans the worst in Europe - only stating the obvious to those in the North West of England. To be fair to Liverpool fans they are great when they are winning but when they lose- well that's a different story. As usual they plead the innocent and the fact they are hard done to but facts whilst they admittedly can be spun ultimately do not lie. Me thinks that this is a story that will run and run.
